Ricky F. Kloster, 41, Long Pond Rd, died Saturday night at his home while under the care of his family and Lewis County Hospice.
He was born in Carthage July 3, 1968 to George ”Casey” and Julia Camidge  Kloster. He graduated  from Beaver River Central School in 1986 and from Paul Smith’s College in 1988. He was employed by Lewis County as a tax map technician. He retired in April 2008 for health reasons.

He married Bridget Pominville August 10, 1991 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Indian River with Father Leo Wiley officiating.
He was a member of the Balsam Creek Valley Hunting Club, was a member of Salem Christian Fellowship, and was a staunch conservative. He enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting, four-wheeling, travelling and spending time in Florida. His love for maps, computers and the outdoors was second only to that of his family.

He is survived by his wife Bridget, two children Josiah, age 10, and Naomi, age 6; and his parents all of Croghan; his maternal grandmother, Irene Baillargeon, Lowville, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services for Ricky will be held Tuesday  October 27 at 10:00 AM at Salem Christian Fellowship, Beaver Falls, with the Rev Bryan Catlin officiating.   Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery Annex, Beaver Falls. Following the burial a time of fellowship will be at the Croghan Fire Hall everyone is welcome. Calling hours will be Monday October 26, from 4- 8 PM at the church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a college fund set up for Josiah and Naomi, in care of Bridget Kloster, PO Box 392, Croghan, NY 13327.
