Arnold H. Heise Sr., age 71 of Lee Rd. Dexter passed away Tuesday morning at his home.

Arnold was born January 16, 1937 in Dexter, the son of Walter and Eleanor Bosco Heise.  He attended Dexter High School.

Arnold married Audrey M. Kirkey on September 12, 1959 at the Dexter United Methodist Church.  He worked at Hall Ski Lift as a welder and later as a custodian at Dexter Elementary School.

He was a former member of Dexter Fire Dept. and was an avid fisherman and enjoyed playing Quick draw.

He is survived by his wife Audrey and 10 children and their spouses.  Jaye and Gerry Haas of Chaumont, Arnold Jr. and Judy of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Lisa Heise and Timothy Smith of Evans Mills, James Heise of Evans Mills, Alfred Heise and Tiffany Szczepanski of Connecticut, Barbara and Nelson Hope of Tenn., BillieJo and Darrin Urgo of Ohio, Casandra and Kevin Buckles of Tenn., Judith Heise and Scott Thomas of Watertown and Tami Endres of Watertown.  He also has 24 Grandchildren and 2 gr. Grandchildren, a sister Beulah Blanchard of Watertown and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother Robert Heise and his twin brother Donald Heise who died May 24, 2000.  A son Walter Heise died in 1968.

A memorial service will be held Friday 2:00 P.M. at the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter with Rev. Mark Pierce officiating.  He will be cremated.  Donations may be made to the Association for the Blind 321 Prospect St., Watertown, N.Y. 13601
