Joseph Maurice Aubin, 74, died Saturday evening, November 7th, 2009 at his home, 2449 Stoddard St., while under the care of his family and Hospice of Lewis County.

Born in Evans Mills, NY on August 13, 1935, the son of Napoleon and Eva Perrault Aubin.  He married Lois Sullivan on June 8, 1957 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Copenhagen.  Mr. Aubin was a lifelong dairy farmer in the area.

He is survived by his wife, Lois, his children and their spouses, Tamie & Victor Montalvo, Copenhagen, Tracie & Keith Scoville, Copenhagen, Travis & Patty Aubin, Rockhill, South Carolina, Troy & Nickey Aubin, Black River, Tyffany Aubin, Denver, North Carolina and Ty Aubin, Copenhagen.  Also surviving are his siblings, Leo Aubin, Pensacola, Florida, Alcid Aubin, Watertown, Frank Aubin, Copenhagen, Rita Gracey, Black River, Cecile Gracey, Mexico and Claire Haggerty, Denmark, 14 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his brothers, Edmund, Arthur, Conrad and Frankie.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 11th at 11:00 AM at the Bossuot-Lundy Funeral Home, Inc., Washington St., Copenhagen.  Burial will be held privately.  Calling hours will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.  www.lundyfuneralhome.com
