Mel, Thank you so much for this story. We as a family are very proud of Matt and his dedication to the community and sports. Our father would be proud of him and having dedicated his life to serving the community and young children, he would be grateful to know that you took the time to tell a story of a young man who donates his time serving his community. I would also like to thank the Red and Black team and especially Coach Ashcroft for supporting Matt. Thank you so much; Jenny Witham

Mel,to see this story on the news brought tears to my eyes and a lump in my throat! We are so proud of Matt as a family. If Dad was here he would have been so proud also to see My little brother do what he has wanted to do since he was a little boy...play FOOTBALL!! Matt has had it tough in life with his disabilities and I'm Thankful for the Red and Black and for Coach Ashcraft for helping him mature as an adult! Matt looks at them as a 2nd family!Thank u all again for making his dream come true

Congratulations to the entire Bufalini family! It is quite an accomplishment to have father/vs/son in a match. Both athletes have integrity and heart. There are no losers in this tournament...only winners all around! The pride was shining from John's eyes when he spoke about Michael, and Michael stated it all when he said he was his father's biggest fan. Cindy and Maria, you must be so happy. Bless you all.

I use to take my kids to see Santa at Christmas - what joy and excitement he brought to them. I also know Matt as a child that rode my bus. He is a good boy and deserves all good things in life. I'm proud of you Matt.

Mel, you did a good job with Matts story. Spider has always been one to make everyone smile. My finace plays for R & B and Matt always takes the time to say hello and i was very happy to see him play. i hope he gets another chance before the season is over.

Spider is without a doubt the nicest person you could ever want to know. If my kids grow up to be a tenth of the man that Matt is then I will have known I did my job right as a father.

Spider is the nicest man I know. He deserves to represent the Red and Black, and what he did for his dad is commendable !!! Love you Spider !!!!!
