Once again, Watertown's George Ashcraft is the Eastern Football League's Coach of The Year.

Ashcraft was named along with R & B quarterback Brian Williams, who was picked as the league's 'Offensive Player of The Year.' 14 other members of the team were named to the league's all-star squad.

Ashcraft led the team to an 11-1 season, perfect at home, and the team's first EFL championship in nearly 30 years.

For his career, Ashcraft is 151-78-2, and has garnered seven 'Coach of the Year' awards. He's in his 19th year as head coach.

"I've got four great coaches on my coaching staff," Ashcraft told 7 News. "Those guys are just as deserving of this award as I am, as are the players."

Williams completed 32 of 94 passes for 529 yards and eight touchdowns, and rushed for more than 700 yards and another nine TDs.
