Friday Sports: General Brown, IHC Score Shutouts

General Brown and IHC had big nights in high school football Friday, with shutouts in the first round of sectional playoffs.

Jared Flath scored first for General Brown with a 56 yard run, followed by a Robert Thomas to Devon Taylor 34 yard touchdown pass.

Kyle Scordo added a 36 yard run for a touchdown in the second quarter as General Brown rolled to a 43-0 win in class C sectional play..

Kyle Hauk ran 65 yards to start IHC's 26-0 win against Onondaga in class D play.

Carthage swept Oswego 49-6 in regular seaon play. Jolyon Davis ran for 86 yards and Clay Nutter threw to Thomas Grimm on the way to the win.

In Section 10/7 football, OFA took Gouverneur 47-12, with quarterback Jared Morrow leading the way. Morrow put OFA on the board with a touchdown pass to Eric Barr, and then scored again on a quarterback keeper.
