Jefferson Community College beat Clinton Community College 3-0 Saturday, in women's soccer.

Simmons reflects on the retirement of David Chamberlain, the 12 year commissioner of the NY Collegiate Baseball League.

"He took baseball in our league from eight teams to 14 franchises," Simmons said.

Maybe even more important, the number of players signing pro contracts grew from seven in Chamberlain's first year to 57.
