Watertown Makes a Statement on the Soccer Field, Indian River Takes Their Message to the Grid Iron

The Watertown Boys Cyclones dominated a strong VVS team at home last night, making their post-season last with a 5-0 win.

Meanwhile, a Section III cross over game between Indian River and South Jefferson showed that the warriors were more than ready for the post season.

Indian River junior running back Andre Green lit up the scoreboard early on with a 67 yard run for the touchdown, putting the Warriors up by 6.

The final score, 61-29 for the Indian River Warriors.

Class D playoffs continue on Friday, with the IHC Caveliers preparing for Weedsport, with IHC entering the contest at 7-0, Weedsport is 8-0.

Coach Paul Alteri knows that with the history between the two teams, the game will be a proving ground for IHC against a strong Weedsport team.
