Just some random thoughts as I recover from a day of feasting on turkey and football.... As I look at the monitor in front of me, its another football game... It looks like Alabama, Auburn... At least I think it is... My eyes are glassing over from staring at the flat screen since Wednesday... Don't get me wrong, I like football... But there comes a point where your mind turns to mush.. If you need proof, this column should prove it... And I love turkey... But after having turkey sandwiches, turkey soup, turkey salad and every other way you can think of serving the poor bird, that begins to get old too... Have a great holiday weekend, I'll be in touch... Oh and by the way, happy shopping... Don't get me anything too expensive... This is Mel Busler rounding third and heading home...
