The South Jefferson Spartans made a strong statement against the Indian River Warriors, coming back to win 58-55.

While Carthage Comets were able to hold off the General Brown Lions, 56-53.

The Watertown Boxing Club is preparing for the New York State Amatuer Boxing Championship qualifier with some key fighters ready to go.

Held this Saturday, January 16, at the Alex Duffy Fairgrounds Arena, the talent that night is looking to represent the North Country at the highest levels, including former Golden Glove winners Delvon Bullock and Gordon Griffith.

The doors open at 5, with boxing matches starting at 6.
