Three frontier league swimmers are headed to state competition in two weeks after outstanding performances at sectionals.

For Jordan Hunneyman of Indian River, he will be the first swimmer to represent his school at the 100 breaststroke.

Coach Alan Baker says that Jordan has recovered from some rough swims to set records and become a stand out on the team.

George LaBarr from Watertown, will be the first Cyclone swimmer to reach states since 1995.

Competing in the 100 freestyle, Coach Jeff Ginger says LaBarr has improved year after year to make the state benchmark.

Tyler Evans of Holland-Patent will be competing in the 50 and 100 freestyle.

State competition will be held February 26 and 27 at Erie Community College.
