Thursday was full of local sports action, with championships at stake on the baseball diamond, softball diamond, and track.

Watertown captured the Frontier League A Division baseball championship over IHC, OFA captured the Section 10 crown in a battle against Potsdam, and the Lady Warriors of Indian River took the Frontier League A Division softball championship over Carthage.

In the Frontier League girls' track and field championships in Carthage, South Jefferson took first, Lowville second and South Lewis third.

And in a boys' Section 10 lacrosse match-up, St. Lawrence Central defeated Canton 15-4.
