Lacrosse League Honors Ventiquattro


The North Country Lacrosse League honored a long-time coaching legend Wednesday night before its 5th and 6th grade championship game at the Alex Duffy Fairgrounds.

The league renamed their championship trophy the Kirk Ventiquattro Championship 5th and 6th Grade Division Award after the Carthage Comets coach.

The league is made up of 26 teams from kindergarten through modified and also supports the open adult league.

Ventiquattro was honored for his accomplishments and his role in making lacrosse a popular sport in the north country.
