Zakiya Saunders, a basketball player from Carthage has made a good first impression with the Comets.

The talented ballplayer recorded a triple double against Copenhagen, which included ten steals.

Saunders also added over twent points a game in wins over OFA and Watertown.

Because of her talents, Zakiya Saunders of Carthage is the McDonald's 7NEWS Athlete of the Week.
