The coaches, parents and most importantly, the boys and girls of Prince Edward County Baseball in Ontario would like to extend our condolences to the Putnam family and the North Country community. For the past few years, our children have participated in the Willie Putnam Memorial Tournament. Each year Mr. Putnam welcomed us and made time to visit with our children. Through his efforts and that of the countless volunteers, our children will have memories that they will cherish for a lifetime. For many of our families, it was the first trip to the United States! What a fine ambassador Mr. Putnam was to his community and his country. The children, parents and coaches of our Baseball Community will not forget him. He will be missed. Matt Ronan
