Sunday at Super DIRT Week: Results and Photo Gallery

Tools

Super DIRT week came to a close Sunday in Syracuse at the New York State Fairgrounds with the biggest DIRT modified race in the northeast, The SEF Small Engine Fuels 200.

Stewart Friesen became the first Canadian ever to capture the checkered flag holding off Jimmy Phelps by under a second.

Local drivers had a tough day on the track running into many mechanical problems. Tim Fuller of Edwards blew a tire and backed into the first turn wall, while local driver Billy Dunn suffered from a steering box problem.  Watertown's Tim McCreadie was hit with front end problems and hit the wall on the back stretch.

The race marked the end to the 39th annual Super DIRT Week.
