Run/Walk Raises Money For Scholarship Fund

The Michael Cerroni 5K Run/Walk will raise money for a scholarship in Cerroni's name for Carthage high school graduates.

He was a Carthage Central School graduate who served as a marine officer during two tours of duty in Iraq. He was killed in a snowmobile accident in 2006.
 
The run/walk is June 30, starting from Maple Street Park in Black River.
 
The cost if $25 if you preregister or $30 the day of the race.
 
Registration starts at 7 a.m. The race and walk begin at 9 a.m.
