Friday Football: OFA Claims Title

OFA beat Saranac Lake Friday night, 25-14, to claim the Section 10/7 Class C title. The Blue Devils capitalized on an early fumble by Saranac Lake to score first - Saranac Lake's Josh Quinn fumbled, and OFA's Jared Morrow threw a 35 yard touchdown pass to Jordan Remi. Morrow scored again early in the second quarter, when he threw a 78 yard touchdown pass to Joel King. OFA moves on to state competition. Lowville plays IHC Saturday in the Section 3, Class B girls' soccer championship. The one time the teams met in regular season play, Lowville lost 4-1. The game is at 4 pm at Cortland State.
