It is the first final four in Harrisville's basketball history and the Lady Pirates are looking to add a banner to the bare walls of their gym.

The Class D semi-finals are Saturday, 10:45 AM at Hudson Valley Community College, where the team will take on Charlotte Valley-Davenport of Section IV.

18-4 overall, it is an exciting time for the girls heading into the weekend competition.

Coach Pete Wood says that the hard work and determination demonstrated by the girls is finally paying off.

It is a sentiment shared by all the girls, including the graduating seniors.
