Thursday was full of local sports action, with championships at stake on the baseball diamond, softball diamond, and track.

Watertown captured the Frontier League A Division baseball championship over IHC, OFA captured the Section 10 crown in a battle against Potsdam, and the Lady Warriors of Indian River took the Frontier League A Division softball championship over Carthage.   In the Frontier League girls' track and field championships in Carthage, South Jefferson took first, Lowville second and South Lewis third.   And in a boys' Section 10 lacrosse match-up, St. Lawrence Central defeated Canton 15-4.   Click on the picture for highlights of those games, plus a pair of General Brown lacrosse players who signed letters of intent to take their talents to the next level.   Michael Roukous and Jacob Humerickhouse have signed up to play at Division II Wingate University in North Carolina.     Thursday's Local Sports Scores   Boys.
