Josephine Avallone began keeping score of Yankees games in the mid 60's as a way of helping her son keep track of the team.

She began keeping score seriously in the 2000s and has collected piles of notebooks filled with data.

Avallone not only keeps score, but she also makes notes on player's performances and uses George Steinbrenner as inspiration.

Jospehine's favorite Yankee is team captain Derek Jeter.
