Privateers To Hold Anti-Bullying Program

Tools

The Watertown Privateers pro hockey team is holding a "Stand Up To Bullying" event to raise money to support anti-bullying programs in the area.

Privateers player and general manager Kris McCarthy says the effort was prompted by the recent apparent suicide of Thousand Islands Central School student Daniel Briggs.

The event is March 16 at the Watertown Fairgrounds arena.

The game starts at 5 p.m.

Children under 10 are admitted for free.

Wristbands and t-shirts will be given away.
