An update: the South Lewis girls team did place 3rd at the State Competition held on Saturday, November 10th. The Section III team comprised of the South Lewis girls team and 5 additional individual sectional qualifiers from Class D placed 1st in the State. The State has 10 sections of Class D athletes.
