Sports: City Golf Tournament Continues

The second round of the city golf tournament continued at the Watertown Golf Club Tuesday afternoon.

In the first match of the day Jason Sweeney beat Ralph Larson 4 and 2.

Former champion Joe Tufo advanced with a win over Eric Burke 6 and 5.

In the final match of the day Michael Burgess beat Mike Bufalini 3 and 1.

The second round will wrap up Wednesday afternoon.

It's pretty sad when Channel 7 News only anounces the names of the local golfers that win the city tournament matches daily and not mention the winners of the matches that live out of town. There are other winners besides Bob Hughes and Joe Tufo you know. Very sad
