The opening kickoff of the Red and Black's meeting with Monroe County would be a sign of things to come.
The R&B fumbled the opening kickoff leading to one of their five turnovers and a Monroe County score.
Trailing 20-7 late in the game, the Red and Black rallied to make it 20-14 on a Brian Williams touchdown.
The comeback would fall short though in the closing minutes as Monroe County held on for a 20-14 win.
The Red and Black will be home once again Saturday August 18th against Albany.
