Watch: NC Teams Dominate Section 3 Football Playoffs


Three north country teams dominated their opponents Friday night in Section 3 football playoff games.

7 News cameras were on hand for:

- Carthage's 42-6 win over Nottingham in a class A playoff. Carthage scored four times in the first quarter alone, to get an early, commanding lead.

- Indian River's 44-17 win over Fulton, in a class A  game played at Watertown.

- IHC's 47-17 victory over Skaneateles, last year's class C champion, in a game played at IHC.

- OFA's 48-0 victory over Canton in a Section 10 playoff.

- Potsdam's 46-18 win over St. Lawrence Central in a Section 10 playoff.

- South Jefferson's 1-0 win over Lowville in a girls' Section 3 class B playoff.

- Copenhagen's 2-1 win over Blessed Virgin Mary in a boys' Section 3 class B playoff.
