Watertown Hosts Babe Ruth District Play

Fifty to 55 teams of 13-, 14- and 15-year-olds from south of Syracuse to St. Lawrence County began play this weekend as the district playoffs for Babe Ruth baseball set up shop in Watertown.

Games were played Saturday at Indian River and a pair of games Sunday at the Alex Duffy Fairgrounds.
