A 24 year old Rochester man is going to prison in connection with a 2016 drug raid on a town of LeRay hotel room.

Travail Madison was sentenced Thursday in Jefferson County Court to four years behind bars and two years post-release supervision.

He was a second felony offender.

Madison pleaded guilty in October to third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

He was arrested last March in his Candlewood Suites room after members of the Metro Jefferson Drug Task Force  executed a search warrant.

Police said they found 19 bags of heroin valued at $380, 13 knotted wraps of crack cocaine valued at $1,300, and $15,538 in cash.

Madison was originally charged with two counts of third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
