There were no injuries Thursday afternoon when a car rear-ended a Carthage school bus.

It happened in the 900 block of West Street after 2 p.m.

Turner said a car slid on the slippery road and hit the back of the bus.

He said the students were transferred to a different bus and sent on their way.

According to the superintendent of the bus garage, special needs students from middle and high school were aboard the bus.
