Business Helps Group Saving Horses

Posted: Updated:

A Watertown business is helping out the horse rehab center that's taking care of nearly 50 horses and 100 other animals seized from a farm in the town of Watertown a couple weeks ago.

The group, A Little Bit of Heaven, rescues horses and fosters them out to other farmers to be nursed back to good health.

Momma's Kitchen in Watertown held a fundraiser for the group on Saturday.

"Any help is a good thing, any help at all," A Little Bit of Heaven board member Kathy Caban-Mulverhill said. "A lot of little helps add up to a big help."

"There's a lot of animals out there that are not treated very well at times and they could use the help," Momma's Kitchen owner Diana Sherman.

Momma's Kitchen is donating 10 percent of Saturday's sales to and giving the group any other donations collected.

They think they raised about $200.
