Congresswoman Elise Stefanik was in Lewis County Tuesday to field questions and meet with constituents.
The event was called "Coffee With Your Congresswoman."
The topics varied from health care to milk prices, border security, and the environment.
"I'm from Henderson Harbor, we depend a great deal on recreation and also the lake -- I live near the lake," Hal Ferguson said. "That's a great resource and I'd hate to see Lake Ontario polluted.
"I enjoyed all the questions that were posted to the congresswoman," Christine Mooney of Lowville said. "I think everyone came prepared -- they were focused and excited about being here and given the opportunity to ask her questions."
Stefanik is also planning to host a televised town hall in Plattsburgh next month.
