Police Identify Victims In Town Of Pamelia Accident

State police have identified the people involved in Monday's crash in the town of Pamelia.

Troopers said 82 year old Beulah Walrath of Brownville was airlifted to SUNY Upstate University Medical Center in Syracuse with severe internal injuries. She was listed in fair condition Tuesday afternoon.

Police said Walrath was driving a Buick sedan west on County Route 53, also known as Military Road.

They said she failed to yield at a stop sign at the intersection of Route 12 and struck a pickup truck driven by 68 year old James West.

West was not injured in the crash, which happened at around 5:30 p.m.
