The state is setting up mobile command centers to help people deal with flooding along Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River.
One is at the Chaumont Fire Department until 8 p.m. Tuesday.
The command centers are traveling around the state to help people figure out their next move as they assess damage to their properties.
"There's a lot of damage, serious damage on the shorelines," Three Mile Point resident Dawn Covey said. "That's what we're here for, to see what we need to do to begin the process to restore."
The mobile command center will be in Ogdensburg Wednesday to help people there with insurance claims.
Financial services reps will be at Ogdensburg's Dobisky Center from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
