4 Ogdensburg Residents Arrested On Drug ChargesPosted: Updated:
Four Ogdensburg residents face drug charges after police seized heroine, crack cocaine and methamphetamine in a city apartment.
Members of the Ogdensburg Police Department said they found the drugs and evidence of meth-making at 1513 Ford Street, Apartment C.
The following suspects were arrested Wednesday:
- Brian O’Marah, age 29, 1513 Ford Street, Apartment C, was charged with felony counts of second-degree unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon (brass knuckles), as well as a misdemeanor count of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance
- Nicole Steinburg, age 34, 1513 Ford Street, Apartment C, was charged with a felony count of third-degree unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine
- Dylan Arquitt, age 26, 223 Gates Street, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance
- Richard Reese, age 28, 615 Morris Street, was charged with a misdemeanor count of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance
All four suspects were arraigned in city court.
O’Marah was ordered held in the St. Lawrence County Jail without bail.
The other three were released under the supervision of probation.
According to Ogdensburg Detective Sergeant David Layng, police went to the apartment to find a person wanted on a warrant.
Officials didn't find the person, but instead spotted drugs in plain view, he said.
The police department's Narcotics Enforcement Unit was assisted by the St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office Drug Task Force, New York State Parole, and New York State Police.
