Students at Jefferson-Lewis BOCES in Watertown are chipping in to help people impacted by flooding.
About 80 students filled about 10,000 sandbags this week.
Students say they're happy to help.
"I'm a big fisherman, so I'm used to seeing people down in Chaumont near the water, so I'm kind of familiar with everybody's that's down with the flooding," senior Logan Nichlos said, "so I'd really like to help them out."
The sandbags will be sent to.Cape Vincent and Alexandria Bay.
