Every manager within Watertown city government is getting pay raises. Everyone except for 2 people at the fire department. For some time, the fire department's union has been at odds with the city over staffing and overtime costs:
With taxes going up, none of the management should get raises.
These men put their lives on the line every day. They deserve the raise more than these city managers.

Watertown's Kmart store will close its doors in early September. A corporate spokesperson said the retailer will begin its liquidation sale on June 15:
Such a shame. I've been shopping at Kmart for years. I will miss it.

I am surprised it took this long for them to close. Any time I am in there, it is very unusual to see more than a handful of shoppers.
More than 100 people were rounded up in St. Lawrence County during a massive drug bust called "Operation Gravy Train."
Jailing those suspects could cost county taxpayers $100,000 in just one month:
Cost of arrests - 100k+. Cost of saving lives - priceless.
Everyone busted should have to pay for the costs.
They need to take money that was seized!
