A 39 year old Ogdensburg woman is going to prison in connection with a robbery spree in St. Lawrence County.

Brandy Breithaupt appeared Monday in county court, where she was sentenced to 12 years behind bars and five years probation.

She pleaded guilty to second-degree robbery.

Breithaupt was involved in an October 27, 2016 robbery at Nick's Liquor Store at 1310 Ford Street as well as a robbery at Dixie Lee Fried Chicken at 423 State Street, which occurred in November 2016.

In both robberies, a handgun was pointed at the victims - and at least in the Dixie Lee case, the store employees were forced to get down on the floor.

Breithaupt was also charged in connection with a string of robberies that took place on the night of October 29, 2016 in Rensselaer Falls and Lisbon.
