Cleanup continues following a fire at a farm supply business in Canton.
The call came in shortly after 4:30 p.m. Tuesday for a structure fire at Bourdeau Brothers on Route 11 in Canton.
The blaze forced officials to close part of the highway for a time. It took about an hour for firefighters to get the blaze under control.
The building stored pesticides and herbicides, so firefighters were concerned about possible spills and contamination.
Firefighters moved quickly to make sure the Poulin Grain company next door wasn't damaged.
"The main focus was to make sure that we didn't have fire spread into the adjacent building that was semi-attached," Canton Fire Chief Brian McCluskey said.
No one was injured.
Bourdeau Brothers reopened for business on Wednesday.
