Current school board member Karl Fetter received the most votes in a special election at the Norwood-Norfolk district on Tuesday.

There were two board seats up for grabs in the district's regular May election: one for three years, the other for one.

Normally, the highest vote-getter would get the longer term, but when votes were tallied Fetter and newcomer James Dillon were tied.

Fetter received 60 votes Tuesday and Dillon received 31.

That means Fetter serves for at least three years and Dillon for at least one.
