A Redwood couple has been arrested for allegedly allowing their 9 year old son to miss 46 full days of school this past school year.

State Police charged 52 year old Dominic Cappuccetti and 44 year old Heather Bartlett with endangering the welfare of a child.

They are both accused of allowing their 9 year old son to miss 46 full days of school and be tardy for 30 days during the 2016-2017 school year.  Out of the 30 tardy days, 26 were unexcused.

They were both issued tickets to appear in Alexandria Town Court on June 27.

Cappuccetti was also wanted by the Watertown City Police Department on an arrest warrant for petit larceny. He was turned over to the Watertown police without incident.

Jefferson County Child Protective Services assisted with the case.
