It's a Fathers' Day tradition at the LaFargeville Fire Department.
The department's annual chicken barbecue fundraiser has been going strong for over 40 years.
Department members started cooking 350 chickens at 6 a.m. Sunday so they could start serving dinners at 11 a.m.
"We start going down through with the chicken, then we hit the salt potatoes, after the salt potatoes we go to the baked beans with the bacon on it, and then we go down to our salad," Fire Police Captain Dale Dingman said.
Dingman says the barbecue raises more than $1,000 for the department each year.
