Dozens of people spent Saturday rappelling 155 feet down the side of Midtown Towers in Watertown.
It's Over the Edge, the United Way of Northern New York's main fundraiser for the year.
This year the organization partnered with Watertown Housing Authority to hold the event at Midtown Towers.
Last year the event was at the Key Bank building downtown.
Participants say there was a big difference between the two locations.
"You know what's funny, we were on top of this building looking over, and we could see Key Bank and it looked like a puppy compared," said Jessica Caprara, who's on the United Way's Over the Edge board.
"But, you know what, it wasn't as bad as you'd think," she said, "just that initial sitting over the edge."
The United Way raised around $25,000 at last year's event and organizers expect to raise a similar amount this year.
