No one was seriously hurt following an accident on State Route 126 in the town of Rutland Tuesday morning.

Jefferson County sheriff's deputies say Alyssa David was turning from the Plank Road when she failed to yield to a vehicle on Route 126 driven by Ronald Potter.

The accident happened around 7:30 a.m.

Potter complained of leg pain and was taken to Carthage Area Hospital. David was transported to Samaritan Medical Center for treatment of abdominal pain.
