Bassmaster To Return To Waddington 2nd Year In A Row

Posted: Updated:

The Bassmaster tournament is returning to Waddington in 2018.

After a successful event in 2017 with over 10,000 attending, BASS has decided to come back and for a second year in a row -- usually, it's every other year.

Event organizers say the location and community play a huge part in their choice to return.

"You combine the great fishing that the St. Lawrence produces, as well as the great community support, and it makes for a very easy decision to return to Waddington and the St. Lawrence River," BASS spokesman Michael Mulone said.

BASS is partners with St. Lawrence County and the village of Waddington to put on the event.
