Panthers Help Boy's Dream Come TruePosted: Updated:
A lot of young boys dream to one day play football in the National Football League and that dream came true for one north country boy this weekend.
Eight year old Dominic Fuller of Harrisville is a Carolina Panthers fan with cystic fibrosis.
His one wish is to be a Panther and over the weekend at the Panthers' Fan Fest -- thanks to the the Make A Wish Foundation -- Dominic saw his dream come true.
Fuller got to shadow Panthers backup quarterback Joe Webb, had his own locker, took part in team meetings, and was on the field with the team during warmups.
"Way more than I expected," his father, James Fuller, said. "I expected to be here and he'd come out and throw some passes and stuff, but going in and doing the whole press conference and everything else he's done so far, the team meeting, has been absolutely crazy."
"He came into this world a little ball of energy and he's been like that forever," his mother, Darcy Fuller, said. "I really can't put words to it. It's amazing to get to be here and get to meet the team and to see the smile on his face as he's doing it is just priceless."
