Lacrosse has taken Kirk Ventiquattro to many places, but now it takes him to a place that's not exactly a lacrosse hotbed.
The Carthage coach will coach the Philippines lacrosse team in the men's lacrosse world championship in Israel next July.
How he became involved with the endeavor would make a great novel.

Heading to the international stage, though, won't affect what he does in the north country.
"My only stipulation was that I needed to continue to do what I'm doing here at Carthage, which is coach lacrosse," he said, "and they informed me that that would not be a problem."
