Volunteers Needed To Help Build JRC's Playground

The Jefferson Rehabilitation Center is looking for help building a new playground for children with disabilities.

Michelle Carpenter of the JRC Foundation appeared on 7 News at Noon on Wednesday to discuss the playground and the need for volunteers. Click on the picture to watch her interview.

The organization is looking for people help with shoveling, pouring concrete, assembling equipment, and cleaning up the site afterward.

The work will take place Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to  6 p.m. at the JRC campus on Gaffney Drive in Watertown.
