Ryan Saidel died from cancer 13 years ago at the age of 19.

Ryan's Wish Foundation was named for him. It helps families like Dawson Miller's, who struggled with paying the bills driving to Syracuse from Richville for his treatments for leukemia.

Now cancer-free, Dawson was on 7 News This Morning with Gary West, one of the organizers of an annual golf tournament that raise money for the foundation.

You can see their interview in the video.

The Ryan's Wish Foundation Tournament gets underway at 10 a.m. on Sunday, August 27 at Emerald Greens Golf Course in Gouverneur.
It's a four-person, captain-and-crew, 15-hole tournament.
