Free Training Offered For Soldiers, Unemployed Veterans

If you're a soldier who's getting out of the military or an unemployed veteran, you might be interested in a free training program.

Jefferson Community College Continuing Education is accepting applications for NY Troops to Energy Jobs Natural Gas Boot Camp through August 31.

NY Troops to Energy Jobs Natural Gas Boot Camp is a 6-week workforce ready training program that supports a soldier’s transition to begin their journey to civilian life and work as well as eligible unemployed veterans.

Training is free and will run September 11 through October 20, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
