If you have a favorite recipe that you'd like to have published in a cookbook, you might be interested in an event coming up next month.
The Philly Cookbook Cookout will be held Saturday, September 9 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Main Street in the village of Philadelphia.
Bryn Durgin of United Community Center appeared on 7 News at Noon on Monday to talk about the event.
People are encouraged to make a dish to share and include the recipe. The recipe will be included in a cookbook, which will then be published.
The event will include live music, a bounce house, and complementary ice cream sundaes.
United Community Center is a new non-profit in the north country, just over a month old.
In that time, it has offered a no-cost children's day program, fitness classes, and language exchange meet-ups.
